Established in 1895, The Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland (ABCI) is a Gospel Partnership of 117 independent local churches who have voluntarily agreed to work together. These churches have over 8,500 members and represent a Baptist community of over 20,000.
Each church is an autonomous entity and is self-governing. However, the association brings all of the churches together as part of one island-wide gospel partnership.
As partners, this enables individual churches to work together as a collective body to spread the gospel and support each other in their areas of ministry.
The Association has several departments which aspire to build the church and proclaim the gospel message throughout Ireland and further afield.
